Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Impact on Golf South Ayrshire

We would like to reassure all Season Ticket Holders and Service Users that we are doing everything we can to reduce the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) on our ability to deliver the Golf Service.

We are working hard to ensure that critical and essential services that make a difference to communities every day continue to operate.  We have therefore had to take a number of steps to ensure we can deliver services to those who need us most, to prevent further spread of the virus, and to protect employee and public health.

As a result all Golf Clubhouses will close from 4pm on Thursday 19th March until further notice. The Cafés will not be open on this day.

Any Season Ticket Holder who has clubs/equipment stored in a locker, may visit the Clubhouse during the normal operating hours of 8am – 4pm and a member of staff will collect and return their belongings. They will not be able to return these items to their locker until further notice.

The Golf Courses will remain open for the time being until we receive further information.

We have also taken the decision to delay the sale of Season Tickets for 2020/21.

For anyone who was a Season Ticket holder in 2019/20, they will be able to access the courses at a reduced rate of only £5 per round from 1st April until further notice. Non-Members / Members Guests will continue to pay the advertised rates.

All Tee Times must be booked online or by calling 01292 616255 and any payment due must be made at the time of booking.

We have taken this decision in the best interests of all users and in consideration of the most recent Government advice. Specific guidance from the Government and NHS can be found at the following links;

We will continue to monitor and review the situation on an ongoing basis and will communicate any changes in circumstances as they arise, through social media and on our websites www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk and www.golfsouthayrshire.com.
