A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR CLUB?
Our Club was founded back in 1982 and still has founding members playing with Club today.
Our Club is a family Club as we have many Social events throught the year where partners and family members can participate.
WHO CAN JOIN?
We currently only have a Gent’s section.
WHICH COURSES AND DAYS DO YOU HOLD COMPETITIONS ON?
We play out of Dalmilling and most competitions are held over a Saturday/Sunday with one particular competition played during the week plus mathchplay events can be played anytime.
DO YOU HAVE OTHER OPENS, CLUB CHAMPS, TEAM MATCHES ETC?
The winners of both our singles and doubles Club Championship competitions qualify and compete in the Ayrshire Championship events. WE also participate in interclub competitions.
We have four Outings to other courses throughout the year which are always well attended including one which is an overnight Outing.
WHAT ARE THE OTHER BENEFITS OF JOINING YOUR CLUB?
We pride ourselves in being a family Club as we have many events throughout the year where all members of the family can be involved eg we have an opening season night where we have a team game of the Captain V Vice Captain’s team during the day and then in the evening partners join the members for a evening where we have a family based quiz, buffet and disco.
We have a BBQ day where we hire Bouncy Castles for the kids and a BBQ for all. We have one competition called the Fox & Rabbit where members team up with either their partner or child and once the ball lands on the green the partner or child must putt until the ball is in the hole.
We pride ourselves on our annual Presentation Dinner Dance held at the beginning of November each year where we have a three course dinner followed by the presentation of that season’s trophies followed by a dance evening to a live band. We also hold several raffles throughout the year.
