A Golf Member's Card is issued subject (1) to the holder complying with and agreeing to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Municipal Golf Courses, including all booking rules, and any ancillary premises i.e. Clubhouses, Locker Rooms, etc., or any which may be made in the future. The breach of any of these rules will result in the forfeiture of the card; and (2) to the Courses being reserved by the Council for any such competition as they may fix, and (3) The Golf Member's Card is not a valid ticket to play. All players must report to the Starter to be issued with a valid ticket for play on that day.

The holder of a group 1 Golf Member's Card is entitled to play all Municipal Golf Courses within South Ayrshire namely: - Ayr Belleisle, Troon, Lochgreen, Troon Darley, Troon Fullarton, Ayr Dalmilling, Ayr Seafield, Girvan and Maybole. Group 1 Juveniles must show handicap certificate (handicaps limits are 12 for boys and 20 for girls).

A Group 2 Golf Member's Card excludes play on Lochgreen and Belleisle.

A group 3 Golf Member's Card is valid for play on Maybole only.

Holders of Group 2 and 3 Golf Member's Card must pay the appropriate fee to play on a course of a higher group.

CONCESSION

CONCESSION - All holders must have a Leisurecard

On all courses Leisurecard holders are restricted to commence play before 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday throughout the year. During the months of British Winter Time inclusive, play must commence after 12 noon on Saturdays on all courses. No Sunday play is permitted. During the months of British Summer Time inclusive Saturday play must commence after 3 p.m. on Group 1 courses and after 12 noon on Groups 2 & 3 courses. Again no Sunday play is permitted. Play is not permitted on Public holidays which are treated the same as Sundays. Play within restricted times may be permitted by the Starter if deemed suitable.

JUVENILES - ALL COURSES

JUVENILES - ALL COURSES

Juveniles – All courses – Play is restricted to commence after 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays after 3.30 p.m. on Lochgreen, Darley, Fullarton, Belleisle and Girvan and after 12:30 p.m. on Seafield, Dalmilling and Maybole. No restrictions Monday – Friday. Play on public holidays are treated the same as Sundays.

Handicaps – Please note that Junior Golfers must have a handicap of 12 for boys and 20 for girls to play on Belleisle and Lochgreen. For play on Darley an official handicap must be held. Handicap certificates must be shown to the Starter if requested.

Concession/Juvenile
Play is not permitted on public holidays which are treated the same as Sundays. Play within restricted times may be permitted by the Starter if deemed suitable.

A golf member's card is not transferable and must be presented to the starter before play on all occasions. Lost or stolen golf member cards will be replaced at a cost to the member of £5 per card.

  • Golf Members card or postcode must be presented to make a booking.
  • Only the holder of the Golf Members card may make a booking using the card (except close family i.e. wife, sons, daughters, father or mother).
  • Restricted to book up to and including seven days in advance of the date of play.
  • Must book a Golf Members time.
  • Leisure card holders and juvenile Golf Members are restricted to book within certain times.
  • Only one time per person per day is bookable.
  • One card one member one time.
  • Group 2 Golf Member card holders wishing to play or book a group 1 course can book as normal but must pay an upgrade on arrival to play. The same rule applies to group 3 card holders wishing to play group 2 or group 1 courses.
  • Card and customer details for the lead person booking a tee time must be given when making a booking.
  • Monday to Friday telephone bookings may be accepted from fifteen minutes after opening time.
  • Saturday and Sunday telephone bookings are not taken till after 10.00am.
  • Cross course bookings may be made (in person) Mon - Fri from 07:30 and at week-ends (in person) after 07:02.
  • Cross course bookings may be made by telephone Mon - Fri fifteen minutes after opening time and at week-ends (by telephone) after 10 a.m.

ON THE DAY OF PLAY
  • The Golf Member card must be produced at the Starters offices and a ticket issued by the starter each time a golfer arrives to play.
  • Any vacant tee slot may be booked either in person or by phone as soon as the office opens, this includes weekends.
  • All players must bring their own Golf Members card to the office for check-in.
  • Players not booking in ten minutes before their booking tee time may lose that slot.
  • Cancellations should be notified to the starter as soon as possible to avoid being put in default.

The Council may suspend or remove the booking rights of individuals who abuse the booking system.

All play is at the discretion of the starter.

All Games start at the first tee.

These times are applicable from the change of the clocks in spring, until the change of the clocks in the autumn.

Winter

Mon to Fri From first tee off the first two hours are season ticket times. The rest of the day is alternate season and visitor times.
   
Sat & Sun From 19th October until end November

These times apply from the change of the clocks in October until the change of the clocks in Spring (March/April).

All alternate times are subject to the discretion of the starter. If a party of guests require a booking that falls in this period it will be given and other times held for season ticket holders.
