South Ayrshire is often referred to as Scotland’s golf coast. This stunning coastline boasts the inaugural home of The Open Championship, two out of five current Scottish Open venues and a range of public courses each boasting their own unique character.

As Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrates 250 years since the birth of poet Robert Burns in Alloway we would like to invite you to come back to Ayrshire and join in our year long programme of events.
