2012  SENIOR   GOLF   COMPETITION

FUN competitions for lady and gentleman golfers over the age of 50, to be held during the months of January to April, on various South Ayrshire Golf Courses.

A round is to be played during the last full week of each month, as follows:-

JANUARY           FULLARTON          Mon. 23^rd – Sun. 29^th

FEBRUARY          SEAFIELD             Mon. 20^th - Sun. 26^th

MARCH              GIRVAN               Mon. 19^th - Sun. 25^th

APRIL               DALMILLING         Mon. 23^rd - Sun. 29^h

RULES OF PLAY:

1.     Book own time and arrange own game.

2.    Produce season ticket or pay the appropriate green fee.

3.    Sign sheets in Starters Office before play commences.

4.    Pay Starter £2.00 entry fee per month.

5.    Return card to Starter on completion of play.

1. Ladies play from L.G.U. markers & Gents from white markers.
2. Maximum handicap is 24 for Gents and 36 for Ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will be restricted to the maximum handicap
3. Players shall retain the handicap with which they entered the competition for all rounds.
4. The competition will be played over the course as set up by the green keeper.  If winter greens are in operation then these are the greens of the day.
5. In the event of a tie in the aggregate prizes, the score of the first round played by all players concerned shall be the decider.

PRIZES

• 1st & 2nd Prizes will be awarded monthly for best net scores from Ladies and Gents.
• Scratch aggregate prize awarded to best Lady and Gent.
• 1^st & 2nd net aggregate prizes awarded to Ladies and Gents.

N.B

• A player may win only one aggregate prize.  3 out of 4 scores will count for aggregate prizes.
