The Marine completed a £3.5 refurbishment of all 89 bedrooms and public areas prior to being the Host Hotel for the Open Golf at Troon in July 2004.

Guests have full use of The Bodysense Health and Fitness Club which boasts 16m pool, spa bath, squash, techno gym, steam and sauna and 3 Spa Rooms.

Only 5 minutes from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport and SeaCat terminal to Belfast. Thirty-five minutes from the centre of Glasgow by car or twice hourly train from Troon.
