Junior Golf

The Clubgolf programme operates at many venues in South Ayrshire. Coaching is delivered primarily by volunteer coaches and equipment is supplied.

Junior Golf Development Competitions

A series of informal Junior Development Competitions are to be held this year. These events are aimed at boys and girls who are able to play golf but are not yet able to play a full round. Initially the children will play 9 holes from forward tees and as the season progresses they may move to full tees. Parents are encouraged to stay and help children round the course.

There will be no green fee charges but an entry fee of £2.00 is payable at each event.

In order to reserve tee times parents are asked to contact Catherine Malcolm, Junior Golf Co-ordinator on 0788 985 0074 / Catherine.malcolm@south-ayrshire.gov.uk to book a place. At the 2 Craig Tara events numbers are restricted and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis - PRE BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.
